De Beer Beoplast wins German Sustainability Award 2024!

Find out how our subsidiary De Beer Beoplast puts sustainability at the heart of its business and how it has once again won the German Sustainability Award 2024.

National recognition

We are incredibly proud to announce that our subsidiary, De Beer Beoplast, has once again received national recognition for its commitment to sustainability. After being nominated in 2018 and winning the award in 2019, we are honored to be on the national stage again this year.

Under the inspiring leadership of former owner Theo Besgen, De Beer Beoplast achieved an impressive milestone: a completely CO2-neutral and emission-free injection molding plant. This is still a pioneering achievement in the plastics industry.

This recognition is not only a tribute to our commitment to sustainability, but also to our team’s ability to push boundaries and find innovative solutions. On November 23, we will proudly receive the award in Düsseldorf from none other than the Minister of Defence, Boris Pistorius.

Our commitment to sustainability

Beoplast is committed to sustainability. Only phthalate-free, European-sourced materials are used, and much of the soft PVC used is approved for use in toys. Beoplast has also demonstrated its commitment to a carbon neutral and emission free manufacturing environment. To date, this is a remarkable achievement in the plastics industry.
